Responsibility policy

WorkerSignal prepares actions and evidence; each participant remains responsible for verification and decisions.

August 16, 2026

1. WorkerSignal's responsibility

We design access limits, data minimization, confirmations, and traceability for functions under our control. We show uncertainty when evidence is insufficient and correct verifiable failures reported to us.

We do not present a signal as certainty or turn a score into an automatic hiring, payment, or eligibility decision.

2. Requester responsibility

  • Use data and contacts with a valid basis, clear purpose, and notice where required.
  • Set job-related requirements and review bias or exclusion.
  • Verify identity, scope, reward, currency, tax, and terms before hiring, accepting, issuing, or paying.
  • Obtain authorization before emailing, publishing, or connecting a tool for another person or organization.

3. Worker and freelancer responsibility

Present proof of work you may share, separate facts from estimates, and do not expose confidential code, clients, prompts, or credentials. Review a Mission, invoice, estimate, vacancy, or recommendation in full before accepting or using it.

4. AI and public signals

AI may summarize, rank, or infer incorrectly. Public signals may belong to another person, be stale, or lack context; confirm the source and provide correction or human review.

Do not use WorkerSignal for solely automated high-impact decisions where law requires explanation, consent, assessment, or human intervention.

5. Money, tax, and documents

A generated invoice or estimate is a draft, not accounting, tax, or legal advice. WorkerSignal does not confirm collection, payroll, withholding, worker classification, W-8/W-9 status, or payment without an explicit integration and receipt.

Never place banking credentials, private keys, OTPs, or complete tax identifiers in a prompt or field not specifically designed and protected for that data.

6. Report and correct

Send errors, impersonation, unsafe content, discrimination, or incidents to legal@workersignal-ai.com. Keep the needed reference, avoid forwarding secrets, and tell us if someone faces immediate risk.
